West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum sold more than 150,000 copies in two weeks and topped the charts until knocked from the top spot by Michael Jackson.

Hit band Kasabian share advice with The Getaway Boys

A YOUNG Derby band recording their debut album are getting advice from top bands Kasabian and The Happy Mondays.

Daniel Parkin, 22, whose band, The Getaway Boys, started recording last week, said: “We’re really good mates with both bands and they’ve been giving us some recording tips.

“They’ve told us to keep things original, be true to ourselves and go our own route.”

Tributes to Foxes legend Henry [Kasabian mascot]

He may have never played for Leicester City on the pitch but tributes have come flooding in for the man who performed their pre-match anthem.

Henry Shipley, whose rousing Post Horn Gallop were a feature of City’s home games, died on June 20.

Henry, who was in his early 80s, first played the Post Horn Gallop at Filbert Street back in the early 1940s with the Home Guard Band.
