Kasabian have chatted to MTV News backstage at the Camden Crawl before the headline the huge Roundhouse venue tonight.

The group release their third album in June and will debut new tracks- including singles Vlad The Impaler and Fire- this evening for fans.

When asked about the album singer Tom said: “It’s a 21st century rock record and more mature than before.”

Speaking about the concept of Camden Crawl Serge said: “It’s a cracking idea- you can wander round and go anywhere you want- I’m quite familiar with Camden.”

Getting in the spirit Tom added: “I might go and buy a Rastafarian hat.”

Of their fellow headliners The Enemy- who were forced to cancel their gig last night because of singer Tom’s throat Serge said:

“It’s a shame (that they pulled out). He’s a real nice lad Tom- it must be horrible.”
