Kasabian Play Camden Crawl [MTV Review/Photos]

The group are triumphant at the Roundhouse…

“Smile you’re on MTV!” shouted Kasabian’s frontman Tom to the biggest crowd of the weekend tonight.

And while the rowdy audience were smiling we also spotted them jumping, moshing, crowdsurfing and singing-along to the Leicester group.

Indie-royalty were in attendance- members of The Maccabees and The View milled about on the balcony as Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof were turned away from the free bar. Poor girls.

But more importantly Kasabian ran through classics and new tracks in swaggering fashion.

With choruses perfect for the cavernous Roundhouse venue the band played new single Fire, a raucous Shoot The Runner and Underdog.

On songs like Empire they get so much adoration you can see why they’ve been picked to play before Bruce Springsteen at Glastonbury.

The perfect way to end Camden Crawl…
